An early study from researchers in Sydney recruited a sample of over 50 older adults. They had them performing exercise and exercise regimen three days a week for two months. The high intensity exercises got a 26% improvement in the quality of their sleep, which is certainly very nice indeed. But when you looked at the low intensity group, they still gained a 15% relative improvement in their sleep quality.
