How does the fed thread the needle in terms of bringing down inflation, without realy giving a time line? The market has impose this power that they don't possess upon them. And what they can do is manufacture a slow down to where consumption has impediments and thereby impacts purchasing patterns. What they cannot do is control the impact of the externalities that are courtesy of of the war in eastern pe, in covid lockins and in china right now.
