Isn't It a Retreat Into the Life of the Mind?

i like the retreat into the life of the mind thing, although i'm not sure in this case. But isn't it even part of it that the way you could be lazy is by sort of just being satisfied doing your menial job? Yes? Which horrifies me, like, actually, i think about it to my favourite part of the reading was the description of butchering the ox. The experience as a whole was wonderful, but the actual work, i do not have fond memories of it. If i had done it for long enough, maybe it would be like cutting the ox.
