The Language of the Men of the West

Le Guin has a linguistics degree and so she does a lot of really weird stuff in her writing right um. Tolkien definitely had a lot of thinking i don't know her work well enough but i can recall from the left hand of darkness and leguins work at least the two different countries on that planet you got to know sort of that they were i think they did speak different languages  i just finished readingUm a secret advice the one of the the new edition of Tolkien's uh manifesto on constructed language things like he was thinking about this stuff.
