The Ideal Data Warehouse Is Composed of Four Parts
The ideal system is composed of four parts. The first part is the definition surface, or i call it the data design surface. It's a designed function, and it comes from the business use cases. Second thing that you need is some implementation inter face for engineers. Third piece is a mapping layer. This might be a human being that sits between the scheme that is incoming from production and what the data consumer has defined they need. And in the fourth piece is the transformation.
