Sabrina Quardaire had hired Sophie Leonay 18 months prior to help with the children while Wiesom was away for work. When asked about her nanny, Sabrina claimed she had resigned two days earlier and returned home to France. She said that Sophie had fallen in with the wrong crowd and had been drinking heavily. But police were certain it was the couple's living nanny, 21-year-old Sophie Leonay.
