How Can We Translate Innovative Knowledge Into Real Life Change?

The thing I'm frustrated at most is how little it still occurs. It seems to take us years to translate these insights into updated clinical guidelines, educated practitioners who then practice in a new way. We've shown with COVID vaccines that if we really, really pull out all the stops, we can get approval for a societally valuable solution rapidly. A lot of other medicines, a lot of other devices, algorithms and so on take many years to get approved approved. That may be more for you than me to try and attack.
