The Struggle of Dante in Heaven

Dante's bad fortune turns in a way into our good fortune because we received the divine comedy but also the struggle in Dante's life is what makes for his ability to see heaven and ultimately be led to heaven as well. Yet even Beatrice at this point wonders whether she's too late has her sight of Dante in heaven come too late to really rescue Dante. From this midpoint of his life from this time that he fears and in which he's struggling I think I like these kind of details of what it's well in Dante because it keeps you in the moment.
