The Multimixer Deal

In 1938, Ray Winstone decided to strike out on his own and start a multimixer business. His wife Etho was incredulous at the idea that he would give up his job for such a venture. He mortgaged his home to go and raise the money needed for his business. The company gave him $6,000 of startup capital but didn't have an interest in it. It's during this period when Warhol first mentions why the book is titled Grinding It Out.
