Building a Multidisciplinary Team for Dementia Care
I feel like our system here in the US currently does not really cater to close team multidisciplinary care, but it's really important. The other thing this is making me think about is, like, if we're doing these depression screens and talking about suicidal ideation, like these are not things we should be doing in a vacuum. Other disciplines need to be looped in. I realized that every setting might look a little different in terms of how we're facilitating interdisciplinary approaches and care. We want to think about what are some respite options for both the individual living with dementia and their care partner.
