Human Trafficking - The World's Third Largest Ilegal Market
Human trafficking is estimated to be the third and largest ilegal market anywhere in the world, just behind drugs and guns. Yet last year in the us, one five six million people were arrested on drug offences. But on human trafficking, the us brought less than 20 convictions. Why is it that such a large black market industry at such a minimal rate of convictions? The answer to that, like all the world's prickly problems, is complex.
