The Role of Worms in Aquaponic Systems
Aquaponics is based on regenerative farming and the aquaponic systems are one facet of them. Instead of using clay balls, we're using the natural rock that's crushed in your area to build a system. The waste that goes into the settlement tanks, we then flush that out into our worm beds,. We also grow quite a bit of biomass. Biomass being a Zola or duckweed or water high since different biomass we grow within the system. It does 350 heads of lettuce every six weeks. It pulls of tilapia every eight months to a year and it produces enough fertilizer for their entire garden. I think they're even selling some of the red worms at
