When hiring externally for any management position, i think it's important that you involve some of the team. The person has to fit inside your organization. Mey have to thay, can't be like a square peg, round hole. But you shouldn't be looking for exactly how they slot in. What yo're actually looking for is are they bringing something to the organization that it lack? And then do they match in some other ways that makes sensei It's a very different way of thinking about the the people te candidates.
