The Roaring Feeling of a Scottish Poem
Dundee, the city of Dundee where I'm from is apparently one of six in the world. And he doesn't have it. Walter Scott doesn't have a town in Oregon named after him. He might have a town somewhere. So thank you, colonialism for that one. The lack of Scots words makes it not Scottish. It does feel quite Scottish to me,. or at least the romantic packaged version of what passes for Scottish in kind of default culture within Scotland and abroad.
