Breath Is the Safest Thing for You

Breathing is always with us, but we don't have any sense of how to use the breath to change our nervous state until we start to inquire in that way. So what's also happening on the out breath is i'm leading my nervous system into the para sympathetic response, which is rest and digest. It was just bringing myself back to i'm safe, i'm held and breathed. Then ten minutes later, i'd be in the kitchen idt the thoughts would start again. And then i'd have to lie down again and practise that. I was just growing a sense of mastery at coming back to the moment.
