COVID-19 - The Importance of Innovation in the ICU

ICU started off with a lot of uncertainty about how to treat these patients. Developing new ways to care for patients can take years, if not longer. COVID occurred in surges and clusters. In the ICU we had to find ways to expand the resources that we had so that all the patients are getting the care that they need.
