The Importance of Privileges

I'm trying to think about how this works with regard to the notion of privilege. Privileges is not that you'll be so ready to anger because you're expecting so much, but that you will just be able to blow things off because you are elevated above it. Being defeated and overpowered can be a belittling thing. So there's this interesting dynamic that goes on between worldly power and moral superiority. These two things are taken, again, at an irrational psychological level, to be related to each other. And this is a one of the engines, i think, of political conflict.
