Can we actually show how dynamical laws and initial conditions follow from these principles? This would address an open problem which is kind of at the heart of theoretical physics. There are all sorts of theories about cosmology, but even a known expert can grasp that they have a problem. And it's not good to say, Oh, I have to choose this one because I have to explain. That seems like a circular explanation. You may as well explain the initial conditions in terms of the conditions of the universe now.
