Is Portfolio Margin Really Important?
In general, you can play that game and be in a very safe place relative to how it looks. So what i did was take a 35 dollar to 40 two dollar profit and turn it into 30 dollar to a forty two dollar profit make sens so y, totally. But i didn't actually buy shares. What i was doing as we were close enough to our margin of safety that i could just sell the put options and try to get put the stock at 55 if it came down there. And one of the very frustrating about that is, of course, now i'm not in where i can have margin. I have to actually have the money held by the broker because i'm so close
