The Uniformity of Crime

In our system, the state doesn't get to punish citizens or individuals unless it can prove ariel every element of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. And reason why we have that standard is because we don't want to make it easy for the state to deprive people of their life, liberty and property. So if you are saying we should have a uniformly high standard to curtail the government's ability to deprive us of our rights, i'll go along with you in that respect. But even if we're talking about criminal law, the criminal law going to be different in some farming community out in the west, as opposed to what crimes area issue in the middle of a densely populated city.
