I Love Arsenic as a Homicide Poison
There's a idea that most poisoners are women, which is numerically not true. Men account for about 90 odd % of assault so by numbers, more poisoners are meant. Arsenic was the first homicidal poison to become detectable in a body, and that was in the nineteenth century. It looked like a natural illness, gastrone and terites. If you just gave arsenic an doses over several times, people got sick. Even when we knowd how to detect arsenic, we don't always suspect it.
