The Complexity of the Modern Synthesis

John Maynard Smith totally admitted the symbiogenic process that I described earlier. The coming together of two organisms to create a new kind of organism, which is vindication of Darwin's original attempt to use hybridization to produce new species. So not all the modern synthesis were closed to the idea of new developments. They formulated the simplest hypothesis that they could produce in 1942 but we now know it's more complex.
