The Problem Is That Logic Can't Solve Problems

i think the problem is that logic logic can't solve problems for us like logic is a great way of processing a series of assumptions but the assumptions themselves are where the all the meat of everything is. We should also use some rational principles like the principle of parsimony which are not logical in the sense that they aren't deductive uh but which provide empirical or reasonable guidelines we should observe. Even if you are not just pursuing logic you're pursuing an empirical observation of nature and you're trying to model  we still produce our models in such a way that the models fit with our logic, he says.
