The History of Inflation
In the late 60s, inflation in America had been 1% a year. By the end of the 60s, it was about 6%. But here's the interesting thing, most people thought inflation was quite beneficial for equities. It wasn't until we got to the 70s that we understood that inflation isn't quite super 9 for equities and we saw huge falls.
