The Importance of Intellectual Humility
We think we know enough to be able to convince them. So endogmatism is very much related to the illusion of knowledge. It does afflict people who are very highly educated and highly experienced in particular. Giving people more knowledge isn't necessarily the answer. We should just stop and think, well, like, before I say that, do I actually understand these details? Could I write out a quick list to explain exactly how this is working? All right.
