The Rejection of the Orthodox Church

The Romanovs held on to some autocracy past pretty much everyone else, at least in Europe. It was a rejection not only of the political order, but it was also a rejection of basically Russian society and it's like standard and ethics. And I think we should all be willing to take the chance that we maybe won't know exactly where to go after destroying this old order.
