Are We Going to Be Family Friends Later On?

I think when I think about winter vacation, especially through middle school times, I primarily remember it being family time as well as time to spend with family friends. We would also try to do dinners with our different sets of family friends that we had at the time. And I guess that was also a decent time to do some ski trips with family. But for us, the real draw of the ski trips were more of like family friend hangouts extended into like a trip.
