Transparency and the Fairness Concept
CNN's John Sutter talks with computer scientists about the concept of fairness. In an article on algorithmic fairness, they looked at transparency as a fundamental issue of fairness. They say in law, we sometimes are uncomfortable with broad terms like fairness. But it can be both a good thing and a bad thing to have broader terms such as fairness.
