If we're using an object pronoun, it has to go in the middle. We can't say, I'm gonna pick up my friend or I's gonna pick my friend up. Equally, you can'tsay, I'm going to turn on it. No, I'm  I'm gonna turn it on. Some phrasal verbs are always inseparable. The prepositions and the verbs are always together. But there is one important thing you have to consider with a separable phrasal verb.
