The Industrial Revolution and the Rise of Mothers
A lot of progress is enabled by international travel. I think actually dismissing that removes kind of validity to like having a full observant view, right? And it's similar around gun control and around climate also are mothers for those types of things because those are people that are focusing on future generations not just about maximizing their own local profits. We're probably the ones that are the most insulated from it, which is why you see this when you go to Africa and the horrible droughts we didn't cause aren't taking place there.
