The expectation effect was really a bigger driver than the drug itself in terms of people improved over the course of the study. But finally, there have started to be plusibo control trials, and all of a sudden those effects run away.
There is growing support for psychedelics as performance enhancers, mood boosters, and a shortcut to therapy. The science is mixed.
