A crush injury can result in traumatic rhabdomyolysis that break down and release of substance from the myocyte. This allows water to enter the myocytes and electrolytes and organic acids being released which causes hypovolemia and hypovolemic shock. And finally kidney injury is a major problem with several contributory factors including precipitation of myoglobin in the renal tubules, urate and phosphate. So there's a whole raft of things going on but in summary a crush injury can results in traumatic rabdomyolytic syndrome.
