The Second Big Case, Rucho v. Common Cause
Rucho v. Common Cause was the second big case that the court announced on its final day of the term. The issue in this case was whether federal courts can do anything about these partisan gerrymanders. In Rucho, by a 5-4 vote, the Chief Justice, writing with the Four Conservatives, held that partisan g Gerrymandering is indeed a political question.
