What Are the Acquired Properties of Personhood?
The argument for abortion to day simply says, the unborn child is not a person. They don't have the same rights as the mother does. So why? Well, it's because they say the unborn child are smaller, less developed in a different environment and more pendent. Prochoice individuals use these acquired properties to deny the unborn rights of personhood. But if we ground our rights in something other than our human nature, then you actually destroy human equality.
