Is There a One True Love?
i think there's a lot in our culture that encourages us to believe that there's one right person. This idea, these ideas are rooted in religion and, as she saidrooted in story telling, poetry, media. I i saw a study years ago where they ask college age students if they are looking for their sole mate. 85 % of students said yes. It's a really common belief. And again, this sample was from the united states, but i think helen would back up that people believe this around the world,. That people are looking for this one true love.
