Is CI-CD a Red-Green Screen?

The CI-CD sounds great when it comes to software. An engineer says, I've got a new feature and we can have it released this afternoon after QA approves. Moses: Maybe we need to do some analysis on these before we push things out so quickly. Do you have any thoughts on the matter? Are you seeing any best practices emerging? You're CI passed and then you go into deployment. That's how we imagine it because that's what we have now.
