It seems very counter to all of his, you know, healthy feel goodery kind of attitude. Did they know as much about sugar then and how bad it was for you that we know today? I don't think so. Not at that point. They just knew it was a way to sell boxes. You guilt the parents through the children. You sell the stuff.
