Musicology

It's interesting how music seems to be so incredibly craft focused. Yet, it's one of those things that you can make this fantastic machine and then forget about the composition i was pending two and a half years building. I think we can see a lot more of it in the language of like, media studies programmes or people that are formal sound studies scholars. We have to find a kind of musical vocabulary to talk about the aesthetics of electronic music.
