Is Social Media Designed to Sell Advertising?
The whole problem is that social media is designed to sell advertising. It's a machine that has nothing to do with you and your goal. You are simply a person who's creating content for free for this machine in order to sell ads. And so if you're immediately taking a picture of it and putting it on Instagram before you're even done, you're missing the point. The sheer sensuality of what a brush or a pen feels like in your hand on paper will enrich you.
