The Importance of Getting Away From the Prototypical Examples

A lot of people in the conlang community are quite monolingual English speakers. It is interesting how your perspective and your background can feed into maybe a different approach to conlanging or world building around it. I think it's one of those things where like I was really excited to see the language creation conference this year because we have so many different voices coming out.
