Google's Carbon Emissions Estimate for London Rotterdam
Google says the carbon emissions for London Rotterdam, which is the journey we've just made, is 16 kilograms of carbon per passenger. You're saying it's 7 kilograms. That's a huge difference as a company that boasts about its sustainability. I'd be a tiny bit annoyed and Andrew, I'm not getting the impression you're being quite kind of generous towards Google,. Well look at the calculation. As I understand, they were using EU average for electricity grid. The electricity grid does vary country to country. So it's a little bit of an exit calculation, but I think Google probably has the resources at times for the accurate calculation.
