John Bergsma: In the new covenant, we have restored to us not only the forgiveness of sins, but the restoration of the Holy Spirit. When we receive the Spirit of God, when we receive theSpirit of the Son, we become sons. He says Christ fulfills all of the various stages throughout the entire of salvation history,. And in a way, right, the New Testament, in a way is simply that reality, right, that Christ has done that.
