Is There Affinity Group in Fighting?

I worry about getting so hardened that the rest of us, who were all supposed to be allies, fall apart because we're all griping at each othern on social media. I'm more interested in directing my energies as, how can we extend good faith to one another? And i do think that sort of affinity group in fighting is nothing new. It's happened always. And i actually don't think it's necessarily unhealthy, unless that in fighting is ha in to the detriment of any sort of forward thinking, which does sometimes happen.
