The Rise of Independent Unions
I think there's been this shift in understanding of, oh, okay, you don't need to be a certain type of worker or come from a specific background in order to organize to join a union. Unions aren't just for the classic white guy in a hard hat trope, like my dad,. Like they're accessible to so many more of us than perhaps we thought. I'm really intrigued by the rise and it's a smaller phenomenon, but it is very much happening and it is kind of increasing slowly.
