Is There Less Censorship in the Navy?
The difficulty of covering the naval war, especially in that first period between pearl harbour and guadalknow. Bob casey was able to go on board with the fleet but wasn't even able to report when he got back from a battle. He would complain about his treatment by the admirals in hawaii all the way back to the whole boss of the us Navy in washington. So they were so annoyed at the heavy levels of censorship that they just left the pacific theatre and went off to Europe.
