Ward Weaver Fails a Polygraph Test

Neighbor Ward Weaver had told whoever would listen that he was the prime suspect. A neighbor of the girls who denied any role in the murders said he had been interviewed five or six times. No search warrant was asked for or issued. By early August, Linda O'Neill learned Weaver had apparently had enough media attention.
