Mr. J worked closely with the network, NBC and together they were able to gather nine victims that were willing to speak up about what happened to them. They all have some degree of hearing speaking or mental impairment; a good majority had the mental functioning level of a toddler. Many of the perpetrators were out in the open once the documentary aired. People who cared cared, people who didn't care didn't care. It's not like the movie. I think if this documentary came out today it would be a whole thing.
