The ability for the world to love you and to care about you is entirely contingent upon being perfect. And so also it's like the deeply unfair dynamic of if you make a mistake. If you act out if you have a hard day and do something you regret, you will not just be punished for it like appropriately like as a kid but you will be sent away. You will be no longer lovable by me.
