Psalm 46 tells us only the redeemed will walk this road that leads to Zion. This song of rejoicing would have been a comfort to Judah as they feared a possible Assyrian invasion. Isaiah's words remind them they can turn to the creator and sustainer of the universe. We too can be still and know that he is God.
