The Modern Misunderstanding of the Cross

Jesus is saying repeatedly in John's gospel, I only do what I see the Father do. And so Jesus reveals the Father, he never acts as an agent of change upon the Father. The Father is immutable. The Father doesn't change. What the Son does is always reveal the Father reveals. This is the Gospel of John on nearly, you know, on every page.
